"He's a bit smaller than i imagined" Lilly scratched her head as she surveyed the new gelding before her, fresh off the lorry from the quarantine yard 

"Well what did you think he would be like?" Chrissy asked her 

"Well ... I dont know" Lilly admitted scratching the bay "Just ... more!" She explained 

"Well i like him" The younger girl said striding forwards to take off the snug travel boots that protected his legs on the journey

"Hes got a good attitude" Lorna slipped out of Tricksters stable and ran a eye over the mustang "He loaded without any trouble and got on well with tricky in the lorry" 

"So tell me how we came about him again?" Chrissy sighed crossing her arms. Lorna held out a hand to give the horse a mint and he eagerly snuffled it up 

"Every year in america they do a mustang round up. Horses either get sold or slaughtered. I have a brother in law over there and his wife has a horse. They went to the auctions just for the experience but she saw this guy. She said he show promise and despite my brother in laws protests she bid on him and won. The paper work says he is a 4 year old bay mustang. Unfortunately the auction had already branded him but thats no worry. They backed him slightly then his financial problems. They had to sell him a couple of weeks after buying him" Lilly explained

"And thats were you came in" Lorna finished and lilly nodded

"I bought him from them in a spur of the moment thing. They loaded him onto a plane and he was flown over. Hes been in quarantine at a yard near east midlands airport for two weeks" she then bit her lip "And i still haven't told Christian yet" she admitted sheepishly

Lorna gaped at her "You havent told your husband that you brought a new horse yet?" She shook her head "Your crazy" Lilly gave a shrug "He'll deal. Not like i can send him back" She grinned patting his nose 

"Not like you can send who back?" The 3 girls spun round to see christian with his arms folded and eye brow raised. Lorna smirked at Lilly who gulped "Christian, there's something i need to tell you ..."
